I’m from Bellevue, Washington, where many students don't have the skills to manage their money effectively. Investing is one of the best ways to develop financial security and set yourself up for success, and the earlier you start, the more your money will compound. I understood the importance of making investing accessible and understandable to help teenagers manage money as they navigate important financial decisions.
And, while I was researching greenwashing at the University of Washington, I realized that one of the keys to investing is about doing it responsibly: understanding what your money supports, and making choices that align with your values.
This idea is central to Literally Finance's mission. Our goal is to help teens build financial skills AND think critically about the impact of their money. We make investing accessible, but also thoughtful.
Every teen deserves access to financial knowledge that’s clear, actionable, and free of gatekeeping.
Investing isn’t just about money. It’s about impact. We show you how to grow wealth without compromising your values.
Literally Finance is built by teens, for teens. We know what works because we needed it ourselves.
